SIXTY: NEW COCKTAIL CARD

Updated: May 30, 2022

Each and every drink reflects its “own” story, moreover, the team carefully approached the selection of ingredients that fully respond to the concept.

The 60-s was a time of radical, new and exciting discoveries and trends. This culture of the decade is characterized by the heyday beginning of rock music, cinema, sexual revolution, rise of hippie culture and psychedelic aesthetics.

All cocktails from the new menu are divided into three categories:

  • Fine Arts

  • Fashion

  • Cinema

Fine Arts of the 60s:

1. MARILYN MONROE

Whiskey, Passionfruit, Lemon Tart, Vanilla, Sparkling Wine

One of the main cult artists of that time was Andy Warhol.

As a base we took famous masterpiece "Marilyn Monroe" and made a twist on the actress's favorite cocktail - Manhattan.

The glass is decorated with a "lipstick" served on a designed coaster with a painting by the artist.

2. MONOCHROME

Grapefruit Soju, Citrus Vodka, Orange, Soda

Minimalism has become another stream of fine arts.

Yves Klein is an innovative French artist, who became famous for creating a special shade patented in 1960 (International Klein Blue). The color appears constantly: about 200 monochromes are gathered in it, and one of them garnishes the cocktail glass.

Absolutely transparent cocktail with mono taste and bright perfume.

3. CHUPA CHUPS

Italicus, Lillet, Rose Champagne, Fruit Cordial

In the 60s, the famous surrealist artist Salvador Dali sketched the Chupa Chups logo on a piece of newspaper. Later, that sketch became the logo of the world famous Spanish candy brand.

The artist had a special love for sparkling wines, especially Cava Rosado, which became the base of the "French" twist with the chupa chups cordial.

The cocktail is served in a high-stemmed glass with the brand's signature logo on the ice cube.

Fashion 60-s:

1. MONDRIAN

Berry Gin, Strawberry Soju, Rose, Raspberry, Barberry Cream

The famous "Mondrian" dresses without a collar and sleeves with a laconic print were created by the French fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent for the F/W COLLECTION 1965-1966.

We took calvados as the base and made a sour on it.

The minimalist cocktail is adorned with the YSL logo using powder.

2. PACIFIC

Gin, Fino Sherry, Celery, Lemongrass, Bergamot, Aloe

The hippie movement had a great influence in the 60s. The most recognizable symbol of this subculture was "Pacific" - the international symbol of peace, the anti-war movement.

The Pacific was used on prints, badges, demonstration posters, and now adorns the author's cocktail of the same name. Vegetarianism has become another hippie trend, so the cocktail is very fresh, based on celery, aloe, etc.

3. BIKINI RISE

Gin, Apricot Brandy, Yuzu, Orange, Lemongrass

There was the cult film "Beach Party" released in 1963, where main part took place on the beach among beautiful girls in bikinis. Twist on "Sex on the beach" and "Tequila Sunrise" unites main lines of the movie. Cocktail is garnish with a parasole and jelly breasts and butt.

Cinema of the 60s:

1. PSYCHO

Sauvignon Blanc, Elderflower, Violet, Peach, Tarragon

PSYCO is a 1960 American psychological horror directed by Alfred Hitchcock.

"Psycho" plays on contrasts - a transparent cocktail with a metal tube, decorated with a black isomalt cloud.

2. JAMES BOND

Berry Distillate, Vanilla, Cocci

James Bond was copied by Ian Fleming, inspired by the real-life spy Wilfrid "Biffy". The main character likes alcohol - for example, in the movie "Casino Royale" he'd drunk 114 times.

We've recreated Spy's favorite and well-known Martini cocktail.

3. BREAKFAST AT TIFFANY'S

Marshmallow Vodka, Strawberry, Pineapple, Castella Cake, Tonka Beans, Sparkling Wine.

A cocktail created in honor of the popular film "Breakfast at Tiffany's", released in 1961.

We've preserved Tiffany's distinctive features by condurin, which, in addition to the recognizable color, gives the cocktail a sparkle, like the brand's jewelry. Garnished with a caramel diamond on top.
