This February, central Moscow bar, called "Drunk Delon", based on Absinthe and Calvados, invited Elizaveta Chuprova to create an event, build the concept and cocktail card for the night and perform.
The whole concept of the evening was built around world famous LIVE AID festival, which thundered in 1985 in the USA and Great Britain. There were world super stars performing as QUEEN, STING, DAVID BOWIE, MADONNA and others.. The theme of the event was chosen for a reason - music, rock and roll are an integral part of our bartender's life.
Guests had been offered with a menu with theLiza's autograph and two QR codes:
1.MUSIC PLAYLIST - music of the festival in the LIVE version, which will play in the bar throughout the party;
2.COCKTAILS PLAYLIST - Digital menu of drinks and their ingredients.
All cocktails were invented based on celebrities' taste preferences and their images. Also, I took in consideration that DRUNK DELON specializes in calvados and absinthe. -Liza Chuprova
STING:
A mysterious, romantic musician, but at the same time brutal and fatal, red wine lover and owner of a winery.
In honor of him - perfumed cocktail with bright notes of red berries and "mysterious fog" was invented. The drink is served in an elegant glass with a long stem.
QUEEN:
The world-famous Freddie Mercury loved to mix strong alcohol with champagne, adored fresh fruits, which were a necessary part of his rider. There is a reason that the cocktail is based on Calvados, absinthe, kiwi, verbena and champagne.
Alcohol Masterpiece is decorated with a stamp with photo of the singer from the same festival when he performed Bohemian Rhapsody.
DURAN DURAN:
Rock'n'roll pop, crazy Band - all of these had been reflected in the signature twist on Old Fashioned. The cocktail is based on calvados, absinthe, Cola cordial and elderflower tonic.
There was also garnish with a word "GARNISH" - everyone can imagine their own decoration and meaning same as while aye are listening the songs of DURAN DURAN.
DAVID BOWIE (B/A):
The only sober at the whole festival, but that did not stop him from living Rock'n'Roll life.
A non-alcoholic drink was created, but exciting - based on ginger ale, popcorn, passion fruit and a bright aroma of tobacco.
